They were soo much taller than they looked online. I can't wear them out because I feel like a stripper. :(

Order 1/2 a size smaller from your normal size, since they do run a tad bit large (I'm normally a 7.5, but I ordered a 7 and still had enough space with socks on). They don't look cheap at all and are quite comfy! There are two things not shown in the picture (good and bad): 1) There's a red plaid lining that is visible when you fold the boots down (adding an extra way to wear your boots). 2) When worn upright (as shown in the pictures), the tongue is shorter than the boot (it reaches a slightly below the 2nd shoelace hole from the top). Even though I thought it was rather awkward, I personally don't have a serious issue with it since I still find the boots attractive - but it's just a heads up for the rest of you shoppers who will find that detail bothersome.
