The back of the shoe part sticks out past the heel and then the fabric over it clings to the calf, so the back sticks out noticeably, giving a strange silhouette. If you have thicker legs, the boots will zip, but they do not zip all the way up, and the two sides of the top wrap around the front of the leg like a horse shoe; they look almost like chaps since they don't come together in the back. If you fold them, they don't lie flat. Will return, unfortunately.

Comfortable and cute boots. I have somewhat small calf muscles and these boots still stay up. My foot is slender and long and even though the boot is round toe, I still have room.
