True to size. great shoe for wider feet. very comfortable.The sole has a rubber-like material and provides excellent grip to prevent you from slipping and sliding. The top half of the shoe is shiny however the material does not look as cheap as the picture shows.the print at the bottom is like vinyl so you won't have to worry about getting your shoes wet or cleaning issues. My only con is that the curve of the shoe in the front may make it difficult for walking or standing if you put too much weight or walk with your toes first(instead of heel to toe). Also the toe box area irritated my feet so i add either an insert or band aids to prevent the material from rubbing against my toes.
